Chief Minister Oommen Chandy’s website is an innovative idea and is hailed as the first step towards transparency in administration. Visuals of his office and chamber are shown live for the people to witness the whole things happening there.
But actually it will not bring the desired results. As corruption always takes place behind the curtains, the visuals will not serve any purpose. We have 2G,Commonwealth Games etc. as examples. The video can be recorded and kept for any alibi in future. All other facilities in the site are excellent and the Hon. CM may discontinue the web casting of visuals.
