Chief Minister Oommen Chandy's remark that “morality
cannot be taught to any one” is ridiculous.
He was referring to the resignation of his opposition MLA involved in sex
allegation.
When the society is surviving on people
accepting,abiding and practicing moral principles how can the politicians claim exemption
from it?
Politicians' morality is of double standards,
one for him and his group
and other for his opponents. When own MLA is involved in sex scandal he will
say “it is politically motivated and we will face it politically.” When it is
of opposition he will say “he should have resigned on moral grounds”. Personal
gain in terms of money and power is behind this
opportunistic attitude.
It is the duty of the people to expose the
double standards of these immoral characters.
